After Adelaide finished, I came back home and went on:
RSL TOURS
First, we started off with Peter Byrne in 'Forever Diamond'...a Neil Diamond tribute.
We set off in our little truck:

Going to many RSL's, setting up a small PA and lightin system and running it.
I was doing lighting on a Hog 1k:

And what happened on the first night? Not only did the dimmer Arc and catch on fire, but our trucks brakes died, and at 1am we're stuck at a truck stop:

While our fearless leader, Dylan, calls RACQ:

So, with nothing better to do, we had a decent midnight snack:

For everyone that hasn't gone on regional tours,,,the road goes on:

and on:

until you find your local Buttery Carwash;

Wait...what? A Buttery Carwash? sounds dangerous.
Anyway, on to the next gig.
Sydney Royal Easter Show.
I came straight off that tour onto another one with Dragon...and straight off that to tour back to Sydney with Raw Metal.
It was an odd venue, with only about 8 metres depth in the venue. The system was a Funktion 1 with a venice out front.

Next it was off to perth, for a few corporate gigs for IBM (cue mixing desk wankery):

at the Burswood casino:

and we stayed in really nice rooms in 'the duxton' hotel:

After Perth was finished with, I came straight back off the plane to a tour with 'Creedence Clearwater Recycled'...no pictures, but it was still nice. After that tour finished, I flew down to Melbourne for a gig for ChemMart, with Raw Metal. We stayed at the Crown Casino:

and the view from our room:

And on the plane home, I took a shot of my place!

Now I'm home, and not working till Thursday, when I have a meeting about more Raw Metal touring, then I'm mixing monitors for Rogue Traders and Thirsty Merc at the XXXX brewery.
And finally, the men that I work with:

The very, very Tired,
Jamie.
